I’m Kristin Beane Sullivan, and I spent 30 years editing the country’s leading garden magazines — Garden Gate, Fine Gardening, and Horticulture. I loved that work, but the moments that stayed with me were those spent standing in a garden, hearing the story behind it, enjoying the scents, sounds and colors with someone who loved growing things as much as I did.

I founded Arbor Tour Co. because I wanted to create that experience for other garden lovers — together visiting everything from jewel-box city sanctuaries to world-renowned estates, tapping into the contacts and garden knowledge that it took me 30 years to earn. I believe that a garden is so much more than what you see — it’s how you feel when you’re standing in it, the ideas you carry home, and the story of the hands that grow it.
